Created by the oral health research community across Canada, the National Oral Health Research Strategy is aimed at advancing the health of Canadians in the face of a rapidly changing world. It informs governments and decision-makers, funding agencies, researchers and their organizations, health care practitioners, the public and others to focus both on emerging, priority issues for Canadian society and on innovative methodological and technological approaches to address these issues.
It was important to create an accessible and inclusive strategy that focused on the health of all Canadians and has already begun influencing new approaches, research priorities and funding decisions for oral health research across the country. On this project, I helped create additional assets including powerpoint templates, English and French 1-pagers, and social media content.
